Privacy
I keep tracking on this site to a minimum. Here’s what’s going on.
Analytics
This site uses two analytics tools:
- Google Analytics (GA4) - collects basic page view data like which pages get visited, how long people stay, and what country they’re browsing from. GA4 may set cookies to distinguish between visits.
- Vercel Web Analytics - a privacy-friendly analytics tool that tracks page views without using cookies. All data is aggregated, so I see totals, not individual visitors.
I use this data to understand which content is useful and which isn’t. That’s it.
Cookies
I don’t use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics.
Embedded content
Some blog posts include embedded content from third parties like YouTube. When you load a page with an embed, that service may set its own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policy.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to my inbox via Resend. I don’t store form submissions in a database - they just land in my email like a regular message.
